Nice Work You Did

In a cave system in the frozen peaks of Ice Mountain lies a clan.

Blaze padded into the cave system. He thought it would be a nice place for a camp.

Pinefern padded into the area after him and flicked her tail around her back left leg her eyes glittering with intrest. the amber in her eyes burning with fire, she disliked this place of cold and fear. shaking out her pelt she sat down and yawned a little.

Sarafina slowly walked into the area, smelling the air for any scents. She noticed some wolf scents but didn't think anything of it. Maybe there was a pack around here she could join. "Hello?" she called out and continued to walk carefully.

Blaze noticed a new wolf he'd never met. "Hello there, I am Blaze. Blaze Shadestriker." He said proudly. His eyes looking into the new wolf's. Trying to get a read on being friend or foe.

Sarafina heard the male and smiled. "Hello, I am Sarafina" she replied kindly, moving her tail gently to the side. "Is this your territory? Sorry to intrude, I'm looking for a pack".

Blaze looked at her, he had claimed no territory yet. He wasn't sure if he wanted a pack or a clan. "I have claimed no territory yet. I will be making either a clan, which I have just learned about. Or a pack, I'm trying to decide what to do. My doors are open." He said, welcoming her into his family. Pinefern was helping him, but his mind hug to making a pack still.

"Sounds good to me" she smiled, "Care to have one more join your crew?" She wanted to help start a pack with this male, he seemed to be healthy and in good shape which is all she really wanted for an Alpha.

Blaze smiled, he was always looking for helping paws. "What are your skills? Everyone in the pack has a specifically defined job. Some are hunters, some are guardians." He said, his eyes curious.

"I'm more of a scout, if anything" she said with a soft laugh. "I don't do any of the harder ranks, but I do enjoy scouting or patrolling". She smiled, moving her tail gently behind her as she talked.

Blaze smiled, he could use that skill in a sense. "Yes, you can be our scout captain. We need a reliable wolf to be a scout captain. Though it is a great responsibility. the rewards are great." He said, he was a promoter by nature.

"Wow, thank you!" Sarafina smiled, wagging her tail excitedly. "I'll try my best" she said with a laugh. She was beginning to like this place already.

Blaze looked at her, his eyes glowing, he had another pack member. It would be a pack, a strong and wise pack.

Sarafina smiled, excited to begin her life as a scout. "How many members are in the pack so far?" She asked. She was curious about the pack and wondered who she'd be meeting hopefully soon.

Blaze looked at her kindly. "There are just two others, met them near here. One promised they'd help me. The other I'm not so sure if she even followed me here." He said truthfully.

"Oh, I see" Sarafina said, swirling her tail elegantly. "Well, I'll be staying put, at least for now" she chuckled with a small smile. "I just have dreams of owning my own pack one day, though I feel like I should stay around here and see what happens first". Sarafina smiled kindly, wagging her tail lightly.

Blaze smiled again. "I have to go check the borders, but I'll be back soon." He said padding away from the den.

"Alright" Sarafina smiled, liking her Alpha already. There was something about the way he talked that showed he would be a kind and just Alpha. With a small nod of approval Sarafina walked over towards the den and smelled around, trying to recognize any scents she could and take in new ones.

Blaze returned. "It all seems in check." He said, he looked at her briefly before turning away.

Sarafina heard the male return and turned to face him. "Glad everything's fine" she chuckled. Sarafina swirled her tail slowly, wondering what to talk about next.
